The concern & Effort of Sheikh Hussain Quraishi
As a monumental and memorable figure in the Muslim community of Edmonton, Sheikh Hussain رحمه الله took every opportunity to assist anyone and everyone. Whether it was for the preservation of faith through the building and maintenance of multiple Masjids across Edmonton, or relief efforts to feed and assist the needy, he would tirelessly and become a light for those around him. One of his last acheviments in this cause was a new Muslim cemetery in Edmonton, with the goal of providing affordable funeral services. The HAQFCS aims to continue this effort in his memory, and as a way of remembering his concern.
Our Mission
The main goal of the HAQFCS is to assist and lessen the burden of financial expenses on others. Members will be able to cover funeral costs of fellow members when they pass away, safeguarding family from take on another worry along with their deceased family member.

Our faith encourages us to look out for one another in good times and bad. A death in our community is a time when we can come together for the family's assitance.
With our seamless online platform, members will be able to access their account, add family members to their account, and view their contributions to the co-op. When it comes time for their passing, HAQFCS will be every step of the way in the funeral arrangements.
